Andreas Möller is VP Carbon Management & Hydrogen (CM&H) at Wintershall Dea with a focus on customer and market development.

Since July 2021, he and his team develop projects and partnerships along the entire CCS and hydrogen value chain – such as the cooperations with Equinor, Fluxys, Nordwest Oelleitung orHES Wilhelmshaven Tankterminal. The aim is to establish cross-border CCS value chains in Europe and to ensure the smooth transport of CO2 to various storage facilities in the North Sea.

Möller regularly advocates technological diversity at industry events. This, he says, includes CCS and low-carbon hydrogen alongside green options as a fast and safe solution to mitigate climate change.

The geographer and geologist has been with Wintershall Dea or its predecessor companies since 2009. Before that, he was responsible for natural gas imports from the Netherlands and Norway to Germany at a large energy trading company.
